50% of the profits from the sale of these fuck cancer pin badges will go to Cavendish Cancer Care.
The fuck cancer pin was born out of a hashtag used by Em of Oh Gosh Silver whist documenting her first round of treatment for breast cancer.
In 2016, aged just 35, Em was diagnosed with breast cancer. In the 18 months that followed she had a lumpectomy, IVF treatment, 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 23 radiotherapy sessions, finally being given the all clear in May of 2017.
Unfortunately in January 2018 Em was told that her cancer had returned, in her bones, as metastatic breast cancer, which means it is now incurable. Treatable, but incurable.
As a big two fingers up to this latest news about her cancer, Emily Alice made Em a necklace to wear to her appointments and chemotherapy sessions and after an overwhelming response of social media, the necklace has now been replicated in a pin with 50% of the profits from the sale of these pins going to Cavendish Cancer Care, a charity that supports people though their treatment offering therapies and a place to talk about their treatment.
